Hair Transplant Growth Timeline

I did a hair transplant with Dr. Rob, and I am so glad I chose him. I did a lot of diligence on my research, where I tried to go to first principles to decide who I would pick. Good method, good equipment, a doctor involved in the procedure, no family doctor or medical group using robots on the side for extra revenue (The tech is not there, I visited those clinics. It's obvious it's side $$$). Good value. He puts his name right there! There isn't a "Turkish conglomerate" hiding his work! I didn't want to use the law of averages on something this permanent.

His clinic is the only clinic I saw where his marketing material is simply him being very descriptive and transparent about the protocol and methodology. No expensive office and online marketing with fancy BS to make it look like their process is better. You are paying for that overhead, but it doesn't mean they are using the best practices! Likely the opposite if you follow simple logic.

Everything he says on his website, he does! He called me right away when I first contacted them (no marketing person pushing me treatments) and was honest about waiting and treating my hair with medication first, then going for surgery (that says a lot right there). He was with me the whole time and answered all my questions thoughtfully. Executed most of it and oversaw the whole process when technicians were involved. VERY CLOSELY. Technicians who clearly work directly with him very well and are vetted strongly. They were not doing his job for him; they were there to assist for the best outcome. The procedure was very "chill". Everyone was very friendly and thoughtful. Easier than going to the gym!

The proof is in the pudding. Immediately after the surgery, you can tell the contour was great. The donor and the recipient sites were not botched nor too painful. The holes were very small and healed fast (good tools, good technique). I noticed during the procedure how carefully he extracted from the donor area to make it more evenly spread so that the healing is better and looks less spotted after. Robots will leave a very noticeable block there, and probably so will technicians who potentially don't care about the outcome. I wish medicine were done more like this. And marketing didn't take over MedSpas so much. Thank you for keeping it about the patient, process, and the results, doctor! Good customers appreciate it!

After researching several places closer to home in Northern California, I ended up choosing Dr. Berberian, even though it meant an overnight trip. I was impressed with his skill, artistry, and demeanor, and that he was comfortable and knowledgeable about working with women's hair loss, in my case caused by PCOS.

I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Berberian from the first video consultation and I remained comfortable and confident in his abilities throughout the procedure. Everybody in the place was friendly and helpful. This is a huge investment in yourself and I wanted to make sure I gave it the best shot possible by going to the right expert. I even got a little filler in my top lip while I was there, which was another first for me, completely unplanned, and he did a fabulous job with that as well. So, Dr. Berberian gave me hope for my hair, which I haven’t had in years, AND he gave me a top lip, which I haven’t had in years

Can't recommend the delightful and talented Dr. Berberian and his team enough! In addition to hair and facial aesthetics, he’s a true artist and painted the original artwork that hangs in his fun offices. I wish I lived closer so I could continue to see him.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Rob Berberian and his team! I came in for an FUE hair transplant, and from start to finish, everything was top-notch. Dr. Rob really knows his stuff — super professional but also super chill and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain everything, answer all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way.
The procedure itself went smoothly, and the results so far have been incredible. I was honestly nervous going in, but Dr. Rob and his assistant Michelle made the whole thing feel relaxed and stress-free. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients.
Also, the office is super clean and modern, and scheduling was a breeze. I never felt rushed or pressured into anything — just honest advice and great care.
If you're thinking about getting FUE or any cosmetic work done, I seriously can't recommend Dr. Berberian enough. Five stars all the way!

Came down to Newport for my procedure with Dr. Berberian. I was searching for over one year to find the right surgeon to do this. I considered going oversees cause the price is so cheap. After doing many consultations via whatsapp with people in other countries I did not feel comfortable they were very pushy and telling me a very high number of grafts. I was told I need 6000 grafts but then I did a consultation with Dr. Berberian and he told I only need 3000 grafts for my case. He put 2000 grafts in the front and hairline and 1000 grafts in the crown. I just had my one year follow up with him and he was right. 3000 grafts was the perfect amount for my case. I am so glad I did not let some random techs empty out my donor area overseas. Dr. Berberian did the procedure and extractions himself. I am very pleased with my results. I am so much more confident when I go out in public and have photos of me taken by friends or family. I dont even need to hide my head with a hat anymore. Thank you a million times for your honest and perfect work.

I've gone to Dr. Berberian for two hair transplants. I picked him because of how thoroughly he knows the transplant process, along with his Yelp reviews. The procedures themselves were as easy as they could be, and I am more than happy with the results. Dr. Berberian knows everything about the transplant process, and is an excellent communicator before, during, and after the process. I highly recommend him for hair transplants and PRP treatments.

Five years later and my hair still looks great. Dr. Berberian did 3000 grafts for me five years ago and I just came back for my PRP injections. I get them every six months. My hair still looks amazing. I am very happy with my transplant.

Dr. Berberian and his staff were outstanding. I initially contacted the office via the internet... and was quickly introduced to Michelle, who proved to be extremely helpful throughout the process. She kept me informed of every step, from scheduling to prescription reminders at the pharmacy and paperwork. She was fast and detailed in her preparations and practically made it effortless for me. Anyways, I needed an initial appointment with Dr Berberian and we agreed on 2000 grafts for a hairline restoration. When I walked into the office, he immediately made me feel welcomed and comfortable... even though I was quite nervous because this was the first time I'd ever done anything remotely similar to this type of thing. He took measurements, drew a perfect hairline, and thoroughly discussed the reasoning behind the proportions of the hairline to the eye brawls and so forth... Clearly, he is an artist at what he does, as the result is stunning. The entire procedure went smoothly... despite the fact that thousands of holes were being punched into you, I always feel at ease and cared for. I fully trust Dr. Berberian's and his work, and I am excited to see the long-term results.


Post-op... minimal bleeding, minimal scabbing, and no discomfort. Just beautifully done work.
